My Kingdom for a Meme

I was just reminded that the end of the semester is less than two weeks away. All right, I wasn't reminded, but still. It's two weeks. I was, though, reminded that perhaps there should be some extra credit available.

I agree, so I offer a small penance. How? Well, back to the blog entry title. A meme. A chemistry cat meme. You email your chemistry cat meme AND print a copy out and in turn I'll give you extra credit points.

Like this one. There are tons of chemistry puns out there to google. Good luck and have fun. Due by the morning of January 17th.

Where can you make your own Chemistry Cat Meme? Well, a Chemistry Cat Meme Generator, or course. Try here.

You know you feel like dyin'

Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellites. They orbit the Earth at the same speed the Earth rotates--so they remain stationary. Here's a link to more information about them. I bring them up because they're cool. Also, because one that's stationary over the East coast was used to make a pretty cool video that used 3500 frames of infrared images. Check it out.

This is currently the picture I have for my profile on facebook. I totally love this guy. The video it's from reminds me of being a kid. And now it's making wonder when we're actually going to get snow.
