Chemistry

Okay...chemistry students...

Your assignment is straightforward. Read the linked article in this posting about thermometers and make an intelligent comment about it. Even a question or something you'd like to know more about after reading it.

A great short story on the history of the thermometer from wired.com. Really...it's pretty good. And short.

    Interesting. I had never noticed that Boiling and Freezing in Farenheit have a 180 degree difference.

  4. Finding a standard for a point of reference would be very hard I think because of the boiling points of things changing with altitude. 15-3
